The thing is, there's alphas, and there's everybody else, and the secret of alphas is they don't let human concerns hold them back. So, if you want a Pawn to help satisfy your character's aspirations, ask your gamemaster and they'll put an NPC Pawn in your character's life. 
Then you can take your Pawn's money if you want. They'll do other things too. And mostly there's no downside.

The Pawn is a checklist NPC, like The Man In the Suit and This One Boy, usable in whatever TTRPG you're playing. So go ahead, you know you want one.
